We are looking for passionate and engaging educators to develop and deliver outreach school programs for children and youth. If you have a background in historical and/or environmental education, are comfortable using technology for the purpose of presentations, and are passionate about working with children and youth, we would love to hear from you! Performs related work as required.Qualifications include completion of Grade 12 and sound experience delivering educational programs to a variety of age groups or an equivalent combination of training and experience. The ideal candidate has knowledge of the BC Curriculum, demonstrates great communication and customer service skills, and is quick to respond when faced with challenging circumstances. Preferred candidates are able to create a positive and inclusive learning environment and are friendly and motivating with students. A Valid BC driver’s license is required. Fluency in French is an asset. Please note that a Police Information Check may be required for this position.

Pay Rate: $39.00 – $43.00 per hourHours of work: This is a contract instructor position, hours and shifts are dependent on operational requirements and scheduled on a as needed basis.
