Financial Services Specialist

OverviewReporting to the Financial Services, the Financial Services Specialist will provide financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and internal control-related expertise to the assigned client group. In this role, you’ll prepare budgets and variance analysis and interpret and apply financial policies per WorkSafeBC corporate financial structure. The financial services specialist will be part of a larger Financial Services team and be a trusted advisor to the operational clients while maintaining financial oversight and governance.How you’ll make a difference:How you’ll make a difference: You’ll help protect the financial integrity of B.C.’s workers’ compensation system.Where will you workAt WorkSafeBC, we offer a model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.In this role, you’ll work primarily from our Richmond office, with some flexibility to work from your home in B.C.What you’ll do
