Fantastic role for a Global market leading business as a Financial Controller UK&I based in Stockport with a great salary and packageReporting in to the European FD you will be responsible for

• Empower the accounting teams by providing developmental support, goal-setting, and expert mentorship
• Distribute tasks and responsibilities to align with departmental goals, ensuring efficient team operation and objective fulfillment
• Conduct evaluations, delivering constructive feedback to nurture team growth and performance
• Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Coordinate, prepare and submit the accounting operations in order to submit IFRS monthly, quarterly, and annual financials, in accordance with the group calendar to IFRS group and local standards for the UK & Ireland entities
• Coordinate local and group external auditors for annual audits and statutory accounts preparation and ensure if any audit issues are resolved and communicated
• Oversee VAT, PAYE, and other tax filings and ensure timely and accurate submissions and ownership of payroll accounting and interface with HR and payroll provider
• Assist as required by the Controlling department contribute to the in the annual budget process for the UK & Ireland

Financial Controller for a global businessGreat culture, salary and packageYou will need to be

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant with strong background in IFRS experience;
• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in finance, including 7-10 years in a sales-focused industrial finance position and at least 5 years in a leadership role;
• SAP S4HANA is a must and HFM/Hyperion knowledge would be beneficial
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills;
• Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial information.

Its an exciting time for the Group as they have started a finance transformation project which this new hire will play a key role in.The package includes

• Up to £75k base plus a £6k car allowance
