Customer Service Representative Job Duties:
- Handling calls that are primarily inbound calls, avg call time is 20 mins.
- Assisting in handling warm leads from colleges to create financial estimates based on the programs of students interest during enrollment processes
- Utilizing a variety of computer software to assist in enrollment processes for financial aid
- Recording all responses through a list of scripted questions to qualify potential students for loans, grants and scholarships
- Making a great first impression with prospective students by offering great customer service and a positive experience
You will be successful in this role if you are a reliable self-starter, like working off scripts and one who works well on a team but also independently.
Schedule
: Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm or 10:00am-7:00pm
- Schedule can rotate between these times.
- Training schedule is 8am-5pm for the first 5 days. Then switch to regular schedule.
- The education center operates between the hours of 6am-7pm. Must have availability to work during all hours of operation if flexibility is needed.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
- $1.00 pay increase once hired on to company
- You’re eligible for a performance-based raise after 90 days of being hired
Financial Aid Representative Job Requirements:
- At least 6 months to
one year of customer service or call center experience. - At least 6 months to one
year working for most recent employers. - Comfortable utilizing multiple computer programs and able to quickly navigate between multiple software
platforms while also reading from script. - Strong written and
verbal communication skills. - Experience meeting
daily, weekly and monthly goals. - No current student loan debt.
