Job description

Core purpose of this Finance Manager role in the Financial Services sector in London:The Finance Manager will take full responsibility for each of the corporate entities within the group and also the personal tax affairs of the family members.This is a standalone finance role, to take over all ledger input and maintenance, through to producing quarterly and annual accounts for each entity, preparing corporation tax computations and with knowledge of accounting for foreign exchange gains and losses. They will have a reasonable understanding of UK corporation, income and capital gains taxes.Key Tasks for this Finance Manager role in the Financial Services sector in London:

• Book-keeping and data entry through to the production of Quarterly Management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow forecast
• Quarterly VAT returns for two companies and the LLP
• Running monthly payroll, pension contributions, P60s, P45s etc. Maintaining HR files employment contracts, holiday records etc.
• Property: credit control, maintenance of all records in relation to each property – including fixed asset register, deposits, rent increases, dilapidations, freehold management, insurance
• Cashflow management for each entity and liaison with banks
• Maintenance of company filings with Companies House
• Pension fund: monthly payments, record keeping, correspondence with pensioners, completion of annual returns, regulatory filing, liaison with fund actuary, be appointed as the Fund’s Administrative Secretary
• Personal accounts of family members – basic tax planning, preparation of annual tax returns, AML requests
• Identifying and implementing new processes as well as automating data gathering and accounting processes where applicable

• CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivallent
• 3+ years’ commercial Accounting experience in the UK
• good knowledge of Xero and excel
