There’s never been a better time to join Smiths.Visit us at –Job DescriptionWorking with senior management to deliver crucial management reporting, providing analysis and insight to improve decision-making and offer valuable insights into business performance.Responsibilities
- Own, develop and improve the monthly financial and management reporting to provide accurate and actionable data to Functional Management
- Work with stakeholders to identify and implement initiatives to improve value and support the business cost optimisation initiative
- Maintain a strong financial control environment, ensuring that policies & procedures are in place and are adhered to by stakeholders
- Own and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of information to stakeholders
- Modelling future plans, forecasts, estimates and scenarios
- Assist with the continued development of our systems, processes and documentation
- Assist with ad hoc projects or information requests as required
- Maintenance of the delegation of authority
Qualifications
- Education: ACA/CIMA/recognised accounting qualification
- Technical skills: SAP ERP experience, advanced excel skills, and Oracle Planning and Consolidation Systems an advantage, Strong technical accounting knowledge, experience gained in a large, international multi- business organisation
- Analytical abilities: Proven ability to analyse financial data and present insights to support decision-making
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to deliver clear insights and the big picture
- Process improvement: Ability to identify opportunities for process enhancement and drive continuous improvement.
