The Leigh Institute is hiring a Finance Administrator Apprentice, offering hands-on experience and the chance to earn a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. You’ll join a supportive team that values growth and collaboration, working on invoice processing, payments, and queries.Our successful candidate will become part of a friendly team that supports the four founding organisations within the finance remit, contributing to effective financial management across our academies. Applicants should also be confident in many aspects of IT, and will be expected to utilise the Google Suite of tools for many aspects of their work.This role is offered as an 18-month apprenticeship contract and our successful candidate will work towards a nationally-recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships.Apprenticeship Summary:Annual wage: £13,725 per annumHoliday allowance: 25 days per annum plus bank holidaysWorking week: Monday – Thursday, 8.00am – 4.00pm / Friday, 8.00am – 3.30pmTotal hours per week: 37 (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship)Apprenticeship duration: Approx.18 monthsAnticipated start date: As soon as possibleApprenticeship level: Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)Apprenticeship standard: Business & AdministrationPositions: 1 availableDesired entry qualifications: GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths, English and ICTFuture prospects: This apprenticeship could be the start of a very promising career within the wider business and administration remit. Currently, 14 of our academies are considered to be “Outstanding” which is nearly 50% of those which have been inspected whilst part of the Trust. The Trust is establishing three ‘clusters’ of academies: LAT Central; LAT North; LAT West. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider. .
