JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Field Product Monitor to support our sales team across Pennsylvania and Maryland. This field based role is responsible for regularly visiting agricultural sites to monitor delivered product conditions, confirm Application activities, and ensure compliance with environmental and operational standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently outdoors, has strong observational skills, and is comfortable communicating directly with customers and internal teams. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity, and supporting successful field operations. June 2026 start date.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct daily visits to field stockpiles to:
    • Monitor and record product pile temperatures.
    • Observe and document any potential environmental or health concerns, such as runoff.
    • Monitor and report on pellet spreading activities.
    • Communicate with customers on monitoring and management.
  • Accurately input all daily observations and temperature recordings into the designated tracking system.
  • Report elevated product temperatures immediately to the appropriate internal and external contacts, including management, mitigation partners, and site operators.
  • Submit a daily activity report to the manager.
  • Prepare and deliver a weekly summary report outlining all site visits, key observations, and any issues encountered.
  • Maintain internal documentation summaries of all field site notifications.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel including executive management.
  • Ability to work in dispersed, fast-paced operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively delegate and build a culture of accountability for results.
  • Technology savvy; knowledgeable about modern technology, proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to obtain any necessary state certifications and licenses that are required.
  • Ability to perform field-based tasks, including temperature monitoring of stockpiles.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize and report field-related issues promptly.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in outdoor conditions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to perform field-based tasks, including temperature monitoring of stockpiles.

education/EXPERIENCES

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management in Agriculture, Silvicultural or Environmental field
  • Construction Management experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Safe driving record: No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years

Salary Range: $25.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
