We’re hiring an all-star sales manager to lead our team and help us hit our sales goals. You’ll cultivate and motivate your team, identify targets and goals, and evaluate sales performance to ensure our success. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, a team player, and loves taking on new challenges.Responsibilities:

• Continue company growth by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs
• Counsel your sales team members, evaluate their performance, and offer suggestions for improvement
• Cultivate long-lasting customer relationships to meet customer needs, and mitigate any complaints to ensure continued business
• Manage our sales team by creating a sales plan for each sales representative, setting individual sales targets, assigning sales territories, and overseeing ongoing training programs to set the team up for success
• Set our sales strategies and sales objectives to achieve our sales goals
• As a candidate for the Fast Track Management Program, you’ll join New York Life as a financial professional to gain hands-on experience. Once you have met the program requirements, which typically take between 6-12 months, you’ll be eligible for promotion to Associate Partner
• In this management role, you’ll begin recruiting and developing your own team of financial professionals. You’ll also be enrolled in the Associate Partner Training Program, a six-month intensive training designed to help ensure that you succeed when promoted to Partner
• You’ll build and lead your own team with the support of a Fortune 100 company. Our development managers and product consultants will support you in reaching your financial professionals with everything they need to know. NYLIC University, one of the most comprehensive and well-respected training programs in the industry, offers a blended learning curriculum designed to meet financial professionals’ needs throughout the various stages of their careers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in sales management as a sales executive or in a leadership role in the sales department
• Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales
• Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills

For our 6-12 month Management Fast Track Program, we’re looking for goal-driven leaders who are eager to build and develop their own unit of financial professionals. • You may qualify for the program if you have completed your MBA, have management experience, have over 3 years of sales experience, or have owned a business
