Position overview

Position title: Neuro-Ophthalmologist at Doheny Eye Centers-UCLA and affiliated locations.

Salary range: The posted UC salary scales (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html) set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5/Scale 7. The salary range for this position is $142,100 – $429,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

The UCLA Department of Ophthalmology invites applications for faculty in neuro-ophthalmology. Applicants should be dedicated to teaching, exemplary patient care, professional activities, creative contributions to administrative, academic or research activities, and service to the University and to the profession. Candidates must be board eligible and immediately eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of California.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications Doctorate degree in medicine or equivalent (M.D.)

Postgraduate residency training in ophthalmology or neurology.

Additional qualifications Completion of fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology.

Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of California.
