We are currently seeking a Experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team based in Paris.About Technip Lyon:Within the TECHNIP Energies universe, the Lyon center is referenced as the group’s center of expertise in the field of Polyolefins. Specialized in Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Green Chemistry and Life Sciences, it also supports the development of innovative technologies in areas such as biotechnologies or bio-sourced synthetic products and hydrocarbons. As you can see, this center of more than 500 people responds to a variety of engineering projects of different sizes (more than €400 million for some projects) with a positioning on very upstream and technically very rich design projects for our engineers.Missions and responsibilities :Working within the Environmental and Health Engineering Department, you will perform environmental studies and activities to ensure that the engineering of the installations complies with the regulatory requirements established in the context of the project. The post requires strong interface and communication skills with other project disciplines such as process, civil, piping, instrumentation etc.Specifically, in the context of the project, you would in charge of:

  • Regulation requirements regarding environmental thresholds
  • Follow up of environmental aspects
  • Technical environment deliverables (effluent lists etc…)
  • Drainage Philosophy
  • Participation to ENVID/HRA
  • Carbon Footprint
  • Life Cycle Assessment
  • ….

Profile:Engineering Degree or equivalent with a specialization in environment, you have minimum 5 years’ experience in the environment field with a good knowledge in environmental regulation (France / European)Personal skills include good communication skills, adaptability, rigorous and capability to work within a project team.You must be fluent in French at least in writing and English.What’s next?Once receiving your application, a recruiter performs an initial check between your skills and qualifications with our stated requirements prior to a detailed and focused review carried with the hiring manager.
