Executive Assistant Medical Director

Description:To manage the high level organisation of work within the Medical Directors office, to enable the Director to meet Ministerial, national and local objectives by taking delegated responsibility from the Director for the day to day management function within their office and ensuring effective and diplomatic management of business through good management practice.To provide a high level, professional and comprehensive administrative and secretarial support across a range of duties to the Medical Director and the Deputy Medical Director for Governance and Standards.Provide a comprehensive secretariat and administrative service to a number of meetings chaired by the Medical Director.The post holder is required to recruit, train, supervise other admin staff, providing guidance and motivation and ensuring they have the relevant skills to support the provision of a quality service to the Directorate.Act as initial point of contact for HR for all personnel matters relating to Directorate Staff and processing all personnel paperwork for members of the Directorate.Act as initial point of contact for Finance for processing invoices for the Directorate.For further information on what is included in the role and what skills/experience are being looked for, click on the links at the bottom of the screen to the job description and person specification.
