Make a difference every day!Job DescriptionWe have an outstanding benefits package which includes:Company-provided healthcareA competitive annual leave allowanceFlexible working options, including hybrid working arrangementsGenerous pension provisionsIncome protectionHealth and wellness benefitsVolunteering daysEnhanced parental leaveLife insuranceYour role:This role sits within the Product Development team passionate about identifying, prioritising, designing, documenting, and implementing improvements to existing funds within the EMEA ETF range to ensure they continue to meet both commercial and regulatory requirements.What we are we looking for:Work with the internal business areas (Product Management, Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, Legal & Compliance, Designated Persons) to identify ETFs whose index methodologies require improvement to remain commercially attractive and aligned to regulatory obligationsCollaborate with the broader ETF Product Development team, to design methodology changes for proposal to index providers that are consistent with the Fund objectives and the index providers’ obligations under EU Benchmark Regulation (BMR)Analyse the business rationale and commercial viability (e.g., competitor positioning, revenue implications, client impact) of other product changes not related to underlying index methodologies (e.g., fund repricing, liquidations, delistings, new share class launches)Develop full business cases to support all proposed changes (index and other) and guide these proposals through to their implementation, including all vital internal (product strategy groups) and external (fund Board, regulator) approvals, with appropriate documentationWork within the broader product development pipeline to appropriately prioritise and sequence all changes in the context of the capacity constraints of key internal business areasCoordinate and detail the annual product review for the full EMEA ETF rangeWhat you can bring:Experience in project management and/or new product governance highly valuedExperience working in financial services in a product capacityStrong quantitative skills and confidence in manipulating and analysing large volumes of dataExcellent Excel skills with a high degree of digital literacyExperience with Python/SQL would be helpfulUniversity degree or equivalent experience, preferably in finance, economics, business management or any of the STEM fieldsAdditional qualifications (e.g. CFA) highly valuedA clear analytical thinker and natural problem solverAbility to grasp new technical concepts quickly, think logically and communicate ideas clearlyOutstanding attention to detail in both written and quantitative workAn effective team player who combines the requisite technical skill, diligence, and attention to detailStrong interpersonal / communication skillsAbility to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Driven, commercial, and entrepreneurial self-starter; must be highly organised and capable of prioritising a full workload and operate effectively both independently and as part of a groupDisability Confident SchemeApplicants who opt in to the Disability Confident Scheme and meet the ‘minimum criteria’ for the role will be offered an interview.
