• Accurately create and maintain BOM and labor routings required to manufacture various plastic products
• Determine the most cost-effective manner to produce various plastic products
• Prepare cost estimates to assist in sales
• Communicate with outside vendors to receive pricing on outside services
• Create templates for all new parts and maintain existing ones
• Work closely with designers and the sales department
• Adjust labor routings and materials to meet product specifications

What you need to be an Estimator:

• 2-year Technical Degree
• 2+ years of progressive cost estimating experience in a fabrication environment
• Knowledge of plastic fabrication processes is preferred
• Must be team-oriented
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Highly computer competent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
• Must be adaptable to change and possess good problem-solving skills
