Possibilities.Your Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site visitsCollect water and soil samplesSupport proposals and business developmentManage projects; mentor and supervise junior staff on delegated tasksAnalyze and interpret field and analytical data, develop conceptual site models and problem formulations, site assessment and remedial options report preparation per current provincial and federal requirementsMeet client-based and regulatory reporting deadlinesQualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsFamiliarity with soil vapour assessments, remedial options analysis, and risk management plansProficiency in project managementExcellent technical writing and oral communication skills, for regulatory agencies, project stakeholders, and clientsHighly organized and self-motivatedExcellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure and within short timelinesProficient with Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)Conscientious, detail-oriented, and disciplined approach to projectsStrong interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skillsInitiative in integrating creativity and efficiency in all work tasksValid Ontario driver’s licenseAbility to obtain a federal reliability security clearanceEducation and ExperienceDiploma in an Environmental Technology program or an applicable Post-Graduate Diploma program or a bachelor’s or master’s Degree in one of the Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent, with associated eligibility for QPESA and/or QPRA status on OntarioPrior experience in an engineering or consulting environment preferredEligibility for registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) is an assetThis description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.Stantec is a place where the best and brightest come to build on each other’s talents, do exciting work, and make an impact on the world around us.
