Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

We have an opportunity for an EH&S Specialist to join our Manitowoc, WI team. You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of safety and environmental strategies for the Manitowoc Ice manufacturing site. This role partners with site leadership and operations teams to drive a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and integrate EHS into daily operations. This position serves as the site subject matter expert while enabling and holding leaders accountable for safety performance across their areas.

You will:

• Lead and implement the site EHS strategy aligned with Pentair standards and business objectives.
• Drive a culture of safety excellence through leadership engagement, floor presence, and employee involvement.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all levels of the organization.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to embed safety into processes and equipment.
• Monitor and analyze EHS metrics (e.g., TRIR, near misses) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Support capital projects to ensure safety and environmental considerations are integrated from design through execution.
• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and corporate EHS teams.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $82300 – $152800/ year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
