Apex Companies is hiring an Environmental Compliance Program Manager. This is a remote position within the United States.

Your Responsibilities as a Program Manager:

  • Lead multimedia environmental compliance programs (stormwater, SPCC, air, waste, wastewater).
  • Manage compliance for 100+ facilities across multiple states.
  • Develop, lead, and mentor highperforming environmental teams.
  • Serve as the primaryclientcontact, ensuringstrong communicationand excellent service.
  • Provide regulatory interpretation and compliance guidance across all media.
  • Manage program schedules, budgets, resources, performance metrics, and reporting.
  • Prepare and review compliance deliverables including SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, air permitting documents, and waste plans.
  • Identifyclient needs and support account growth.
  • Ensure safe execution of all program activities and reinforce a strong safety culture.

What we’re looking for:

  • BA/BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of environmental compliance experience, including multimedia programs.
  • Experience managing large, multistate facility portfolios.
  • Proven leadership skills, witha track recordof developing highperforming teams.
  • Strongprogrammanagement abilities, including schedule, budget, scope, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication, client service, and teambuilding skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent safety record and a solid understanding of safe work practices.

Annual Expected Pay Range: $125,000 – $165,000 depending on experience
