Engineering Technician

An innovative healthcare company is looking for a Engineering Technician to join their team. They manufacture advanced, laser-based medical cameras to provide physicians with a real-time, high-resolution, surgical view into the hidden anatomy. The ability to visually identify potential risks for stroke and cardiovascular events could lead to more proactive interventions and treatment opportunities. The products you’ll be creating here will help save people’s lives on a daily basis.

The Engineering Technician is a temp-to-hire, full-time position with a flexible schedule. This could result in a long term role if it is the right fit for you! In this role you would be responsible for assembly of prototype devices, evaluate new component designs with incoming inspection and execute qualification, verification and validation protocols. You will be successful if you are a good communicator, organized and take initiative to identify and solve problems.

On a daily basis, the Engineering Technician will:

• Assembly of prototype devices using microscope, tweezers, other existing tools.
• Operate a 3d printer and other (proprietary) fab and assembly machines
• Evaluate prototypes using engineering test method
• Develop prototype-level assembly processes into manufacturing-level assembly processes

Engineering Technician Requirements:

• Minimum 5 yrs work experience
• Prior technical experience a plus
• Prior manufacturing/production experience a plus
• Proactive communicator

Schedule: Monday – Thursday: Flexible start and End Time but must work 9:00am – 2:00pm

Pay: $36/hr
