This team is responsible for creating a single pane of glass application for our Educators that brings together their day-to-day tools, such as schedules, clocking features, internal communication, training, and more. This enables deeper engagement, improves efficiency and inspires Educators to better serve Guests. This Software Engineer (DevOps) position is a highly technical role with accountability to manage infrastructure as code, build and operate CI/CD pipelines, enhance monitoring and alerting, automate existing processes, and create a catalog of self-serve offerings to help development teams deploy faster to production.We are looking for a motivated DevOps engineer to become a core member of our team building technical solutions for our Educators here at lululemon. We work in a cloud native environment where “automation” and “Infrastructure as Code” are guiding principles and necessary for the development of high-quality and resilient software systems. These systems, which you will build and extend, are all integrated into a consistent automated CI/CD pipeline. You will be involved in many aspects, helping to evolve our existing architecture, working with teams to improve operations, and implementing new features and functionality.Our team is fast-paced and taking on exciting new initiatives to support a fast-growing business.   • Proficiency in configuration, orchestration, and automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Terraform) for full-stack integration
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS EC2, ECS, IAM, Lambda) and PaaS solutions
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level web services, load balancers, shell scripting, authentication, and IT security
  • Implement and manage monitoring solutions using tools like Splunk, Datadog, and CloudWatch
  • Design and set up alerting systems to improve incident response and resolution times
  • Demonstrate understanding of system resiliency, redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Administer and maintain cloud environments across Production, Development, and QA
  • Implement and manage blue-green deployment strategies in production
  • Collaborate with software developers and product teams to design, deploy, and manage scalable services both on-cloud and on-premise
  • Conduct system analysis and provide solutions for performance and availability improvements
  • Monitor and escalate engineering issues effectively
  • Lead problem resolution for assigned systems, including production support
  • Manage and maintain DevOps tool standards for the team
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure current systems effectiveness and future-proofing
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance overall system efficiency
  • Experience working with a variety of vendor APIs including cloud, physical and logical

infrastructure devices * Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 support for critical systems and infrastructureQualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology, or in a related technical field or equivalent technology experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing computer software projects utilizing open-source services framework
  • Experience with cloud native tools
  • Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Strong software development fundamentals including automated testing, source control, continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and/or deployment. Experience working with complex multi-tier applications
  • Experience with monitoring tools and logging systems
  • Experience in Cloud Sourcing and Asset Management (Cloud Operating Ideals, Cloud Management)
  • Working knowledge about Cloud Security Assurance (Identity, Perimeter Defense, Monitoring & Surveillance, Compliance)
  • Working knowledge of working in Cloud Network Segmentation, Connectivity and Pipeline Automation
  • Strong understanding of mobile app build processes
  • Analytical/problem solving ability
  • Experience working in Agile environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize numerous tasks and to coordinate activities with a high sense of urgency
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills

Immigration support is potentially available for this role.Compensation and Benefits Packagelululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $105,900- $145,400 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
