Expectations Deliciously Exceeded.Job PurposeSupport the Company’s maintenance program by focusing on plant equipment and building maintenance in a manner that meets and complies with all food safety policies and OSHA regulations.Essential Functions

• Plans details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required and develops a logical approach to correct the problem.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems (e.g., mechanical drive components, hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (e.g., wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, VFDs, contactors, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, and AC/DC motor drives)
• Perform preventive and/or predictive maintenance on all plant equipment
• Perform building maintenance and repairs (e.g., HVAC, cooling systems, lights, powered industrial trucks, floor scrubbers, plumbing)
• Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service and/or replace electronic devices and systems
• Troubleshoot PLCs
• Troubleshoot electrical control circuits
• Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel immediately
• Advises and cautions operators and mechanics about potential electrical problems and inherent dangers involved.
• Notifies supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical equipment noted and corrective action taken.
• Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures
• Services electronic equipment by checking, testing, and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards, and similar electronic devises Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications (Education/Experience)

• 2-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 5+ years in maintenance mechanics role, including repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of CMMS and experience in using such systems
• Stick, mig and/or tig welding skills; ability to weld to sanitary standards
• Intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to understand and utilize 5S methodology
• Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts to identify solutions
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
