Job Description We’re Hiring an Industrial Electrician! Location: Mississauga, ON Shift: Continental, Day/Night Salary: up to $48/hrAre you a skilled Industrial Electrician looking for an opportunity to work with cutting-edge electrical systems in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Electrician to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our facility.What You’ll Do: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair MV switchgear, motors, transformers, and control systems. Perform diagnostic tests such as IR testing, impulse tests, and breaker timing tests. Troubleshoot LV electrical systems including motor control centers, industrial lighting, and circuit repairs. Identify and troubleshoot DOL, Star-Delta (Y/D), Soft Starters, and VFDs. Read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics. Use inspection tools like Megger, thermography cameras, and vibro pens for condition monitoring. Perform routine inspections on electrical components and ensure compliance with safety standards. Work with PLC hardware and ladder logic for basic troubleshooting. Support the calibration of transmitters and process control instruments. Document maintenance activities and use MS Office tools for reporting.What We’re Looking For: Certified Industrial Electrician (309A or 442A) – [Specify if a certification is required] Experience in medium and low-voltage systems in an industrial setting. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
