Electrician Job Duties:

• Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment
• Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
• Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
• Cleaning, repairing and installing equipment and parts as needed.
• Operating a variety of hand and power tools.
• Complying with health and safety regulations.

Requirements for the
Electrician
 role:

• 3-5 years’ experience with the following:
  • PLC’ or automated systems (photo electronic sensors, proximity switches, fiber optics, variable frequency drives, servo drives)
  • Industrial electrical 12/24 volts DC up to 480 volts AC
  • Food scale systems for product feed and check weigh applications
  • High speed metal detectors
  • Date coders (Video Jet and Markem coders)
• Familiarity with good manufacturing practices and food safety standards.
• 3-5 years of Preventative Maintenance work in an Industrial setting.
• Intermediate Math skills and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. – co-lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Able to work in a hot environment.
• Mechatronics aptitude preferred.

Additional Responsibilities for the Electrician
 
role:

• Maintain a clean and hazard free work area.
• Communicate with team members & supervisors.
• Troubleshoot & maintain machine systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm

• Assistance on other shifts as needed.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
