Annual Salary: Negotiable – DOE
Working Pattern: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm)
Driving Required: YesOur client is on the lookout for a dynamic Electrical Test Engineer to join their vibrant team in Parnwell, Peterborough. If you’re passionate about electrical maintenance and testing, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!What You’ll Be Doing:As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment is in top-notch condition, ready to deliver unforgettable experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting, testing, and maintaining hire stock electrical distribution units and equipment.
- Keeping accurate records and working to schedules to maintain equipment readiness.
- Adhering to company Health & Safety protocols while executing your tasks.
- Conducting maintenance and repairs on audio, lighting, power distribution, cabling systems, and rigging equipment.
- Assisting with new-build equipment projects to keep our offerings fresh and innovative.
What We’re Looking For:To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Qualifications:
– 18th Edition Qualified Electrician– City & Guilds qualification in Inspection & Testing (e.g., 2391, 2392, 2394, 2395)– City & Guilds 2377 qualification in PAT testing
- Experience:
– Proven experience in Portable Appliance Testing– Familiarity with 3-phase systems and variable RCDs– Ability to perform repairs on distribution equipment
- Skills:
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills– Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team– Effective workload management and prioritisation– Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook– Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
- Additional:
