Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical design and engineering, with specific expertise in control panel designs, junction box designs, and wiring diagrams. You will be part of a dynamic team specializing in combustion solutions and industry applications such as sampling systems, HIPPS, winterization enclosures, and hydrogen blending skids. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and design products from the ground up, contributing to innovative projects and significant growth initiativesResponsibilities

• Design control panels for Burner Management Systems (BMS) or Distributed Control Systems (DCS) using AutoCAD.
• Create and manage Input/Output (I/O) lists.
• Develop and interpret wiring diagrams for 24Vdc and 120Vac systems.
• Design junction boxes, selecting terminal blocks, fuses, power supplies, and disconnect switches.
• Develop cable schedules and network architecture diagrams.
• Redline and update loop drawings.
• Design electrical systems for winterization enclosures, including wiring diagrams for heaters and heater sizing.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience with control panel designs for BMS or DCS.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for electrical design.
• E.I.T. or P.Eng certification, with E.I.T. candidates being a year away from P.Eng.
• 2-4 years of experience in junction box designs.
• 3-5 years of experience in creating and managing I/O lists.
• 2-4 years of experience in developing wiring diagrams.
• 3 years of experience in cable schedule development.
• 2-4 years of experience in network architecture diagram design.
• 3 years of experience in redlining and updating loop drawings.
• 2-3 years of experience in electrical design for winterization enclosures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD Vault.
• Pl Tech or Pl Eng certification.
• Experience in designing panels, including mechanical design layout in 2D and 3D.
• Knowledge of Motor Control Center (MCC) or Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) packaging design.

Work EnvironmentThis position is fully based in the office, with the potential for future flexibility to work from home. The work environment involves computer-based tasks and occasional visits to the shop. Standard working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The company emphasizes a collaborative team environment, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
