Overview:A family living in Paris is seeking a highly organized and experienced Family Supervisor/Caregiver-Educator to join their family and provide exceptional care for their triplets and a 16-year-old. This full-time, live-out position requires a nurturing individual who is passionate about child development and education and can seamlessly integrate into their home life while overseeing additional childcare personnel. Responsibilities:Childcare Personnel Management:● Hiring, Training, and Evaluation: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of childcare personnel (tutors and other caregivers) to ensure they meet the highest standards of care and education.● Care Plan Development: Collaborate with childcare personnel to create and implement individualized care plans that address each child’s unique needs, developmental goals, and educational requirements.● Scheduling: Manage the schedules of all childcare personnel to ensure consistent and reliable care for the children.Childcare and Education:● Morning Routine: Oversee and facilitate a smooth and structured morning routine, including dressing, breakfast, and preparing for school or activities.● Bath Time: Manage bath time for the triplets, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.● Bed Time: Implement a consistent bedtime routine, including stories, songs, and calming activities.● Etiquette Training: Guide and instruct the children on proper manners, social skills, and respectful behavior.● Meals: Prepare nutritious and balanced meals and snacks for the children. Pack lunches for school and outings. Prepare staff meals when parents are not present.● School Preparation: Ensure school bags are packed with necessary supplies, completed homework, and any required forms.● Room Organization: Maintain cleanliness and order in the children’s rooms. Fold laundry, organize closets, rotate seasonal clothing, and restock toiletries.● Curriculum Development and Educational Support: Design and implement a supplementary home curriculum that complements the children’s schoolwork, providing additional educational enrichment and homework assistance.● Target Achievement: Monitor and track the children’s educational progress, ensuring they are meeting their academic targets and developmental milestones.Family Support:● Travel Preparation: Pack for family trips, ensuring all essentials are included for the children.● Travel Companion: Accompany the family on vacations, providing childcare and support.● Overnight Support: Provide overnight care as needed, ensuring the children’s safety and well-being.● Errands: Run errands for the children, such as picking up supplies, attending appointments, or taking them to activities.● Supplies Maintenance: Maintain and restock the first aid kit, outing bag, and any other essential materials.● Tidy Up: Clean and organize play areas and bedrooms, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.Communication and Coordination:● Parent Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents, providing updates on the children’s development, milestones, and any concerns.● Medical Coordination: Schedule and manage medical appointments for the children, maintaining accurate health records and monitoring any allergies or health issues.Record Keeping and Documentation:● Individual Calendars and Medical Histories: Maintain detailed records of each child’s schedule, activities, and medical history, ensuring all information is accessible to relevant childcare personnel. Requirements:● Proven experience as a Caregiver, Educator, or Family Supervisor, preferably with experience caring for multiple children and teenagers.● Strong understanding of child development, educational needs, and age-appropriate activities.● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.● Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and delegate responsibilities.● Patient, compassionate, and nurturing personality.● First Aid and CPR certification.● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.● Fluent English speaking Salary and Benefits:● 175K+ Euros – depending on experience● Benefits package.● Opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children.
