Full time DVM: Lead Veterinarian – Urgently Hiring + Amazing Salary + Great Benefits – Valdosta, GAA respected partner hospital is looking for a full-time Lead Veterinarian to join their team in Valdosta, GA . This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian with a passion for animal care and strong leadership skills to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree, at least 5 years of clinical experience, and a desire to lead a dynamic team of veterinary professionals.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional medical care to animals, including diagnosing, treating, and performing surgeries.
• Oversee and guide a team of veterinary staff to ensure high standards of care and productivity.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including patient care, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and communicate effectively to address concerns, answer questions, and provide education.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical standards, and all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Practice Manager and other leadership team members to improve clinic processes and workflows.
• Support the professional development of staff through mentorship and guidance.

Qualifications:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting.
• Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, staff, and management.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases and patients effectively.
• A passion for veterinary care and a commitment to improving animal well-being.
