Full time DVM: Associate Veterinarian – Urgently Hiring + Generous Sign-On Bonus – Mobile, ALA partner hospital in Mobile, AL, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative, multi-doctor practice. This clinic offers the unique opportunity to work with small animals and exotics, utilizing advanced equipment such as ultrasound and digital dental radiographs. With a flexible schedule and no weekends required, this position allows for an excellent work-life balance.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and health concerns in a variety of species
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to patients’ needs
- Perform surgeries and dental procedures with the support of a dedicated team
- Maintain patient records and provide client education on pet care
- Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional, compassionate care
- Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to support the clinic’s mission
- Manage a varying caseload while ensuring high-quality service and care
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in Alabama (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing compassionate care
