Full time DVM: Associate Veterinarian – Now Hiring + Sign-On Bonus – Summerdale, ALA partner hospital located in Summerdale, AL is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated veterinarian looking to work in a dynamic, multi-doctor mixed animal practice. The clinic sees 70% small animals and 30% large animals , and offers a collaborative work environment with a focus on providing quality patient care and building strong relationships with clients. The team is also committed to growth and development, with opportunities for mentorship and continuous learning.Key Responsibilities:

• Medical Care : Provide medical care to a wide range of animals, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery.
• Team Collaboration : Engage with the clinical team and leadership to ensure high standards of medical care and efficient practice operations.
• Client Relations : Build and maintain relationships with clients using a relationship-based approach, ensuring they are well-informed about their pets’ health and treatment plans.
• Support Staff Development : Encourage the growth of support staff through the clinic’s internal LevelUp training program.
• Caseload Management : Oversee a varied caseload, including surgeries and appointments during clinic hours.

Qualifications:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state of Alabama (or ability to obtain).
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for veterinary medicine and a commitment to providing excellent care.
