Must be available to work as early as 5:00AM and OT when mandated by clientStart Date: ASAPWe are seeking a Dryer Utility Worker for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable manufacturer that supplies high-quality aluminum extrusion products located in Springfield, Oregon.
The Dryer Utility Worker will play an essential role in the hands on processing of aluminum parts. The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe environment while actively contributing to the efficient processing of aluminum products.
This is a great opportunity to be a part of a large and local manufacturing facility and further your career in this industry, located in Springfield, Oregon.As a Dryer Utility Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Use forklift to remove dry veneer from automatic veneer stacker and dry chain carts
• Driver marks and stacks veneer according to size and grade in storage areas
• Keep dry stacker and dry chains unloaded to prevent downtime
• Accurately ticker all products with correct date, time, and product
• Must follow veneer stacking guidelines without damaging veneer
• Perform daily pre-operation inspection of forklift
• General Clean up
• Must be able to concentrate in a noisy environment, deal with frequent interruptions, juggle multiple projects, exercise independent judgment or perform other mental tasks
• Perform cleanup duties as down-time allows.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Occasionally lifting up to 45lbs
• Position not just restricted to forklift driver
• Previous forklift experience in a production environment
