Seeking a Drafter or Designer for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a growing engineering firm in Norristown, PA.This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including: 100% employer paid Health Insurance Plan, 401(k) match, paid holidays, and more!Shift Time: Mon- Friday 8 am to 5 pm which can be flexible. During the summer months is a 4-day work week (4-10 hours Mon -Thur)Pay: $60-75k annually based on experience.Job Responsibilities for Drafter or Designer:

• Drafting, Design and Layout of Commercial and Residential Land Development Projects
• Drafting, Design and Layout of stormwater and sanitary sewer systems
• All work, plan set preparation, utilizing AutoCAD (Basic Knowledge Mandatory)
• Sheet Set Up
• Details Drafting
• Pipe Profiles Drafting
• Grading, Erosion Control, Stormwater Management Drafting and Design
• Subdivision and Commercial Site Sketch Plan Preparation
• Grading, Erosion Control Plot Plan Preparation
• Municipal Ordinance Review

Qualifications for Drafter or Designer:

• 2 plus years of experience as a drafter/designer
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D a plus
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D Styles, Surfaces, Profiles (Pipe & Road) a plus
