A little about the Compliance Support Role:This role is fundamental to Jasmine’s mission to provide the highest standards of elderly care. One of Jasmine’s key Aims is to have all six of our homes rated as Outstanding with CQC.You will be responsible for helping to ensure the highest standards of Compliance and Care across our six elderly care homes. This will primarily be achieved by completing regular visits to our care homes to perform Compliance audits. These visits will be followed up with timely and constructive feedback, both verbally and in writing (including action plans), to our home managers and deputy managers, to help them improve their home’s compliance. We are looking for someone who can work alongside our home managers, in a positive and collaborative way.This role is based at our Support Hub in Sleaford, Lincs. However, the role will involve a significant travel to our care homes around the East Midlands (approximately 3 days a week) and occasional overnight stays. It is a full-time role, which will involve working whatever hours are required to get everything necessary completed to a high standard. Day to Day Responsibilities for Compliance Support Manager:To achieve Jasmine’s Mission and Aims in the home you manage by:1) Overall responsibility for Compliance of 6 care homes (3 nursing, 3 residential)2) Overseeing the production of Jasmine Compliance Report (JCR) and score each home every month3) Complete maintenance audits and action plans; and carry out walkarounds during visits to the homes, providing constructive feedback on improvements during visits4) Mentoring & Development of Deputy Managers & Team Leaders5) Ensure all complaints and safeguardings are logged, investigate and closed on a timely basis6) Monitoring pressure sores, DoLs, Falls & Weights by ensuring logs are always up to date and proactively managed7) Assist the MSD and PSM to ensure Jasmine Team is as engaged as possible8) Preparing for external inspections across the group each month (typically one per month)9) Assist with second line Jasmine weekend On-callEssential Requirements for Compliance Support Manager:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a management role within the elderly care home sector
  • A wide knowledge and understanding of the care sector
  • NVQ 3 in Care or equivalent and willing to study for NVQ 5 and/or 7 (or be a registered nurse)
  • Computer literacy (particularly email, excel spreadsheets and word documents)
  • Driving licence and comfortable driving 80 miles or more many days of the week
  • Live 30 miles of Jasmine Support Hub or within 60 minutes drive per google maps

Preferred Requirements for Compliance Support Manager:

  • Five years’ experience in a management role within the elderly care home sector; or
  • Two years’ experience in a Compliance role for a group of elderly care homes
