We provide clean, reusable data, enabling R&D and industry engineers to optimize decision making and cycle time.About the RoleAs a Director of UX Researcher, you will lead a team to create exceptional user experiences. You’ll drive innovation and ensure seamless interaction between users and digital products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align design strategies with business objectives is also a key aspect of this role.Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring, you will grow our UX Research and Design function, fostering an environment conducive to creativity and innovation
- Championing and lead user-centred research activities and align them with our business objectives and technological capabilities.
- Conducting comprehensive user research, execute usability tests, and synthesise data to inform insightful, evidence-based design decisions
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders and the product development team to oversee the translation of UX designs into functional user interfaces.
- Driving understanding of the use cases and needs relating to the organisation’s current products and future capabilities
- Understanding products and strategy, and how they influence customer decisions.
Requirements
- Experience of defining the long-term vision and strategy for user experience research, aligning it with business objectives and goals. Establish design principles, guidelines, and best practices to guide the development of user-centered products and services.
- Experience in leading and managing a team of UX professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Ensure the team’s collaboration, growth, and adherence to design processes and methodologies.
- Have the ability to oversee user research activities to gain a deep understanding of user needs, behaviours, and motivations. Utilize research findings to inform design decisions and validate design solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment and a shared understanding of user experience goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of UX trends and innovation.
