Job Title: Director of SalesLocation: Rural ManitobaPosition Overview:Lambert Nemec Group, Manitoba’s Premier Specialized Recruitment Firm has been engaged by our client, currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales. The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, as well as a strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies. They will be a hands on sales leader with external sales focus.Job Description:As a Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in creating and growing the revenue of the company by driving metrics and sales activities of the team.
- Managing, training and mentoring a sales team to achieve sales targets
- Creating forecasts, budgets and KPI’s to achieve sales goals
- Attend various conventions and trade shows in North America to promote the brand and the company’s products.
- Become the external sales champion to achieve revenue growth.
- Strategic involvement with marketing campaigns.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in-office in a rural setting, with the flexibility to travel 1 week a month.
- Lead the sales team and develop sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Recruit, hire, and train sales representatives
- Motivate and coach sales representatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers
- Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
- Report to executive leadership on sales performance
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt to unique environments and people
- A background in a manufacturing related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership
- Strong understanding of the sales process
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
