Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, SNC Jesta Fontainebleau. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.The accommodation manager is in charge for the reception department (day/night/porter), concierge and all the housekeeping services, which he or she directs to achieve the objectives defined for him or her and to implement the management principles in terms of operations, human relations and marketing.
He represents the hotel to guests through all the stages that follow their stay in the hotel.
He ensures the proper organization of work in his departments by remaining in close collaboration with the housekeeper and the Head of Reception
In collaboration with the Human Resources Department, it organises training meetings with its department heads and leads them with them.
He organizes and supervises the flow of information between the different departments of his department and between his department and the rest of the hotel. The Director of Accommodation is in contact with customers, all organisations, all companies, administrations, private persons likely to become a customer or to bring in new customers or to make the establishment and its products known, and he ensures relations with service providers and security services related to the activity of the departments for which he is responsible.BAC +3 minimum

This job description sets out the current duties of the position, which may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the position or the level of responsibility involved.He is responsible for the reception, the functioning of the staff, and the relationship with the customers.He is bound by a right of reserve both inside and outside the establishment in view of the information to which he has access.Responsible for the quality of services, customer satisfaction being a permanent objective.Controls and is the guarantor of the application of the hotel techniques and procedures of the Marriott Group as well as the JW MARRIOTT brand by its department heads.Responsible for the profitability of all services by constantly monitoring the related expenses, to this end he regularly analyzes the situation of his departments with the finance department.Responsible for the proper maintenance of the statistics of the accommodation activity.Analyzes daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports of the hotel’s activity.Makes proposals for changes that could improve the efficiency of the hotel’s operations.Participates with the management in the technical preparation of the sales budget and the setting of prices for the occasional services requested by the customers.
