We Are HiringDirector of Interface Care – NHS Greater Glasgow and ClydeGrade F (£106,955 – £141,596) – Subject to job evaluationNHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are committed to driving a bold and transformative programme to reform urgent care across our entire system. In support of this we establishing a new Interface Care Division which will lead the whole system transformation of urgent care.NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a dynamic Director of Interface Care to drive transformation in urgent care and seamlessly integrate primary and secondary care services. This pivotal leadership role will shape strategy, lead system-wide collaboration, and deliver innovative care models, including establishing our FNC +Plus care model, a new virtual hospital, as well as implementing Electronic Triage at our front doors and establishing Rapid Assessment and Care (RAaC) units at our front doors.We need a visionary leader with strategic expertise, healthcare integration experience, and a commitment to innovation. It will lead and direct the strategic development of our Interface Care services through the establishment of:
Over the next three years, this transformation will shift the balance of urgent care between acute and community settings, ensuring patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.Our ground-breaking Virtual Hospital will be the largest virtual hospital in the UK and will significantly expand the range and coverage of clinical support and treatments for our patients at home, reducing the need for hospital admissions and reducing length of stay.
