In this key role, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the organization’s mission through sound financial management. This is an exciting opportunity for a financial professional, looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive environment.Responsibilities of the Director of Finance will include:

• Provide financial leadership, direction, and supervision to the fiscal department.
• Oversee and maintain accurate financial documentation, including general ledger, purchase requests, invoices, check registers, Medicaid billings, accounts payable/receivable, payroll journals, and bank statements.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, corporate, and internal policies, as well as GAAP, HIPAA, and industry best practices.
• Prepare and distribute timely financial reports, including regulatory reports, consolidated fiscal reports, quarterly reports, and budget reports.
• Manage the preparation and coordination of all activities related to semiannual audit schedules and the review of monthly and annual financial statements.

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Director of Finance:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, and a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, CMS, OPWDD financial standards, CFR, and DOH (TBI waiver).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently and lead a team.
