Director of Analytics

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage the analytics department, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members

– Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support business goals and objectives

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize analytics projects

– Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions

– Present findings and recommendations to senior management and clients

– Monitor and report on key performance indicators and metrics

– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in analytics tools and techniques

– Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide valuable insights and recommendations

– Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all analytics projects

– Oversee the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures

– Manage the budget and resources for the analytics department

Qualifications and Skills:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

– Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

– Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, etc.

– Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques

– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

– Proven experience in managing and developing a team of data analysts

– Experience in the technology industry is preferred

– Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

– Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations

– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

– Fluent in English, Arabic language skills are a plus
