I feel welcome and at home.”View more comments from our clients and their family members.Pay RangeCommensurate with ExperienceAs a member of the leadership team for Strategic Solutions & Partnerships (SS&P), the primary responsibility of the Director, Health System Solutions and Partnerships is to provide leadership, strategy and operational oversight in the growth and stability of hospital transition/integrated systems streams and support the internal transitions of operationally stable programs to the IC&CC team as indicated. This role is accountable for building, developing, implementing/operationalizing, and evaluating emerging and existing partnerships/programs within SS&P. This position is heavily involved in the internal adoption of external initiatives related to new integrated service delivery models.The Director, Health System Solutions and Partnerships, collaborates with colleagues across all departments at VHA for the execution of new models of care. This role ensures the implementation of new clinical programs and care pathways from hospital programs and evaluates the need for SS&P front line expansion or use of clinical teams from the IC&CC or private teams. This position will work closely with the Director, Business Opportunities in identifying new business opportunities related to integrated service delivery systems and partnerships. The Director, Health System Solutions and Partnerships will develop and maintain key relationships and partnerships that will better connect services across the health and social service system.The Director, Health System Solutions and Partnerships enhances the department and organization reputation consistent with VHA’s vision, mission and core beliefs of services as well as building and supporting sustainable and productive public relations with clients, customers and VHA staff and associates.Key Areas of Accountability
- Leads program development and management of hospital partnership programs and integrated service delivery systems.
- Provides oversight to new and existing hospital partnership programs aligned with VHA’s strategic direction.
- Responsible for overseeing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders of hospital partnership programs, integrated service delivery systems and initiatives.
- In collaboration with the SD, HSS&P, lead the development of new hospital partnership programs and/ the integrated service delivery systems that will enhance the provision of services to the community and that are consistent with VHA’s vision and mission.
- Presents VHA and services to potential hospital and system partners.
- Assesses and manages program budgets.
- Leads ongoing contract adjustments/enhancements related to Integrated service delivery system programs’ business implementation and development.
Required Qualifications
- Regulated Healthcare professional required.
- Relevant university degree (Masters preferred) in related health care discipline, Health Administration or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare working with dynamic and diverse teams and managing complex, large-scale projects, preferably in home and community healthcare.
- Knowledge and experience in home care, not-for-profit, and charitable community support sectors.
- Experience building relationships and partnerships related to health system integration.
- Excellent program planning and project management skills.
- Client-centered and customer focused.
- Motivated self-starter who works well both independently and with a team to drive results.
- Displays a professional, positive attitude and maintains enthusiasm.
- Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking/presentations.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally.
