Wage: $70,000 – $85,000 annually (based on experience and education)

Our client, a well-established company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Safety Manager to take charge of their safety programs and ensure compliance across their operations. - Overseeing the safety programs and initiatives across the manufacturing floor to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies.
- Conducting safety training for new hires, and leading monthly, annual, and emergency drill training sessions.
- Coordinating specialized courses like CPR with healthcare professionals.
- Managing workers’ compensation cases and handling on-site injuries with care.
- Supporting facility maintenance teams to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilizing technology and company systems to conduct electronic processing and safety training.
What We’re Looking For:
- Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience in a safety role within a manufacturing setting is a must.
- Training Expertise: Proven ability to conduct and manage safety training for new hires and ongoing sessions.
- Strong Communication: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay calm in high-stress situations.
- Technologically Proficient: Comfortable using computers and managing training programs electronically.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with EHS management systems, local/state/federal EHS regulations, and experience with risk assessment and incident investigation.
- Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred but not required.
