This direct hire position offers hands-on work in inspecting, testing, and maintaining fuel systems at retail gas stations and commercial fueling facilities. If you’re detail-oriented and mechanically inclined, this role is an excellent fit for you!Why This Role?As a Fuel Systems Technician, you’ll inspect and test vital fuel system components, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and operate safely and efficiently. You’ll work with advanced systems and equipment, gaining specialized training and certifications along the way.Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 + per hour DOE
• Schedule: M-F (40-50 hours per week)
• The start time is 7:00 am or earlier, and the end time is at job completion.
• Report to and dispatch from the home office
• Overnight stay/travel is required.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspections & Testing: Conduct monthly and annual inspections of fuel tanks, dispensers, and related systems. Perform line tightness, corrosion protection, and tank monitor testing.
• Calibrations & Maintenance: Calibrate fuel dispensers to ensure accuracy and handle general maintenance tasks such as filter changes and water removal.
• Documentation: Complete and submit work orders, warranty forms, and other required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Certifications & Training: Obtain and maintain industry certifications through provided training.
• Travel & Safety: Commit to overnight travel and adhere to all safety standards and guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Experience with mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems is a plus, but training is provided for the right candidate.

• Qualifications: Valid driver’s license, effective communication skills, and proficiency in using standard and custom software for documentation.

• Physical Abilities: Capable of lifting 100+ pounds, standing for long periods, and working in varying weather conditions.

• Attributes: A problem-solver who works well independently, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
