DescriptionDirect Care Worker up to $27/hr – Opportunity for Direct HireWe are looking for caring and committed Direct Care Workers to help residents with developmental and behavioral disabilities. Your role will involve supporting a group of adult residents, many of whom face mobility challenges and require physical assistance in their daily activities.Responsibilities:

• Aid individuals in habilitative, behavioral, and recreational programs
• Offer physical assistance as necessary to ensure residents’ well-being
• Help residents with daily living tasks, including self-care, hygiene, leisure activities, and social skills
• Participate in individual meetings and accompany residents to various appointments
• Use state vehicles to transport residents to work, recreational, and other activities

Requirements:

• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Own transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 6 months of direct care experience
