This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly formed team supporting renowned researchers at Warwick. You will lead the Digital Scholarship strategy, driving innovation and promoting digital scholarship initiatives that enhance research, teaching, and publishing across the university. In this role, you will collaborate closely with faculty, researchers, students, and professional services to develop and support projects that leverage digital tools, methods, and platforms.We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.About YouWe are looking for an outstanding candidate to lead, motivate and direct the Digital Scholarship team. You will bring a deep understanding of digital innovation, alongside strong project management skills, a track record of impactful leadership in digital scholarship, and experience in relationship building. Key skills include managing digital scholarship services, developing digital policies, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.As an innovative and collaborative collaborator, you will help lead the Library’s Digital Scholarship strategy and the operational delivery of the service, working across functions with colleagues from other professional services departments to form a new offer for digital scholarship across the University.As part of the Extended Library Management Team, you will collaborate on the development and delivery of new strategies and processes in line with our strategic plan as well as the institution’s changing needs and priorities.A collaborate and effective manager, you will support and motivate staff, interacting strategically with senior colleagues across the academic and professional services community.Your role will empower Warwick’s community to thrive in the evolving landscape of digital scholarship, contributing to our strategic vision of supporting world-class research and fostering a positive, lifelong learning experience.For further information regarding the skills required for this role please see the personal specification section of the attached job description.About the DepartmentAbout the University of WarwickFounded in the 1960s with a bold and collaborative vision, the University of Warwick is a top-tier, research-intensive institution.
