It is a new company based in London, part of the Richemont Group.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?We are looking for a creative and innovative Digital Design Lead to join our team. As a key part of our Digital department, you will be responsible for creating the user experience throughout our platform and improving the overall customer journey by focusing on 2 key areas: * Developing innovative UX/UI designs that reflect our customer needs and support our teams in achieving their roadmap for the year
- Partnering with broader teams including Client, CRM and Marketing to ensure consistency across all channels
As a new global platform with big ambitions, we have an exciting roadmap for the year ahead and need someone to help shape and bring it to life while also supporting with the day-to-day trading of the website with exciting design and layouts.
- Work on every aspect of the product’s design, from solving the core user problem to shipping a well-tested UI.
- Understand specific platform standards (i.e. iOS and Android Apps, mobile/desktop web) and brand design ambitions and translate these into deliverables for our development agency.
- Develop wireframes, UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate new functionality and present to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Ensure that the UX/UI designs are aligned with company goals, brand identity standards and customer expectations.
- Seek out creative, design-led solutions to challenging problems by staying up to date with design trends emerging technologies and suggesting ways to incorporate them when relevant
- Work with Digital, Marketing and CRM teams on page layouts based on our component libraries to ensure best-in-class design and cross-channel consistency while supporting broader trading goals
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Strong experience designing digital customer experiences with a focus on UX/UI design for web and mobile platforms
- Proficiency in modern tools and processes – Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira, and Agile methodologies
- Proven work experience as a CX Designer or similar role ideally in Luxury, Fashion and Retail industries
- Proven ability to take ownership, creatively solve problems, and proactively contribute to the objectives of the business
- Proven experience taking assets and copy and turning them into beautifully designed pages
- An understanding of the technical implications of design decisions and experience working with developers to improve the customer experience as pragmatically and efficiently as possible
- The ability to work in a highly organised and collaborative way, with experience working in cross-functional teams
- The ability to come up with ideas quickly and successfully communicate them to stakeholders
- Experience of working with component libraries and working within brand guidelines
- When needed, you should be able to mentor more junior designers
