Location: Toronto, ON
Compensation Range: $45.50/hr. to $64.50/hr.Our client, a multinational technology company specializing in Information Technology Services and Consulting, is looking to hire a Developer – Essbase developer.The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in Essbase 19c/Essbase21, Essbase 11.1.2.4 Essbase Administration Services (EAS), ETL – SQL, Smart View, Shell scripting.Responsibilities:
- Creating new applications or improving existing ones in the Essbase 21c
- Providing support for Essbase and SQL Server environments, including security, scheduled job maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Migrating data from legacy databases using ETL tools like SQL and PL/SQL
- Designing and creating cubes, including ASO cubes, using MaxL and MDX scripting
- Optimizing cubes for performance, including data retrieval and data loading scenarios
- Reporting
- Creating security for Essbase, including users, groups, and filters
- Optimizing databases through dimension building, data loading, indexing, calculations, cache management, and partition management
- Provide technical expertise in designing, coding, and documenting new initiatives.
- Highlight technical issues, challenges and propose creative solutions.
Qualifications:5+ years of Essbase development experience.Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, SQL ServerExperience in writing complex Dimension build and load rules in Essbase and Cube partitioning.Good analytical skills to break down requirements, solve complex problemsProven analytical and problem solving skillsCandidate with good understanding of Banking, Finance and Regulatory reports.All interested applicants who meet the qualifications listed above are invited to submit a resume by clicking “Apply Now”.The indicated pay range for this position is a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law.
