Job description
Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a client for Deputy Manager.
As the Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Care Home Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the home. Your role will involve leading and motivating the care team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a high standard of care. You will play a key role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of residents while also supporting the professional development of staff.Key Responsibilities:·Assist the Care Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
·Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
·Ensure that the care provided meets the individual needs of each resident and complies with all relevant legislation and standards.
·Conduct regular assessments and reviews of care plans to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
·Support staff with training and development opportunities, helping to build a skilled and competent team.
·Handle complaints and concerns effectively, ensuring that residents and their families are satisfied with the care provided.
·Work closely with the Care Home Manager on budgeting, staff rotas, and resource management.
·Assist with recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
·Act as the Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and care.Qualifications and Experience:·NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
·Proven experience in a similar role.
·Strong understanding of CQC regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
·Strong organisational skills.
