Job DescriptionROLE
The purpose of this role is to support the management of our Delivery team of consultants to ensure our clients’ needs and projects are efficiently and commercially resourced. Working with the Delivery Resourcing Manager supporting planning and management of consultants of all grades. This role partners and works closely with leadership, sales, talent acquisition and the People Team to help deliver operational excellence.Responsibilities are varied and will involve working with different functions within Telefonica Tech. You will be naturally collaborative, put people at the core (our central value), highly organised with great communication skills and attention to detail.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support resourcing decisions on current/future projects, together with the Delivery Resourcing Manager and other team members
  • Work with Senior Delivery Consultants and Sales to shape resource forecast for forthcoming engagements
  • Contribute to resource meetings to understand impacts to resource needs (new projects, timeline movement, etc.) and facilitates risk/issue mitigations
  • Proactively reviews opportunity pipeline to create and understand the picture of upcoming demand
  • Works with the Delivery Resourcing Manager to understand and communicates the impacts (financial, client relationship, risk to project) of applying one resource over another or removing a resource from work
  • Support developing reporting and monitoring requirements; Proactively reviews employee data and develops and communicates meaningful insights on trends, forecasts, opportunities for improvement and areas of concern; provides suggestions for improvement
  • Help administrate our resourcing management software (Float)
  • Contribute to resource reports and resource forecasts
  • Keep team members informed around forthcoming roles and projects
  • Work with Project Managers in identifying changes to the resource profile due to project deviations, delays, opportunities
  • Liaise with Head of Delivery and People Team for recruitment/resourcing workforce planning
  • Liaise with Recruitment Agencies for contractor requirements
  • Monitors utilisation to target performance, investigates outliers and recommend plan for remediation
