Operating within the global online food delivery market, which is expected to be worth $365 billion by 2030, and backed by Tier-1 investors, including Octopus Ventures, Local Globe, Heartcore Capital, Rakuten, and Battery Ventures.🔎Why are we hiring?To achieve our ambitious vision, Taster operates on three foundational pillars:Ops & Network: Overseeing supply chain management and our franchise network across various countries.Revenue: Managing delivery platforms, click & collect, and local marketing initiatives.Power to Creators: Collaborating with key creators to bring our brands to life.As we continue to grow and leverage data to drive strategic decisions, we are looking for a skilled Lead Data to strengthen our Data team. This role is critical in helping Taster unlock the full potential of its data by driving insights, improving operational efficiency, and delivering actionable recommendations. If you are passionate about data, and want to make an impact in a fast-moving company, this is the opportunity for you.🤝What will you do?As a Lead Data, you will:Strategic Leadership:Lead, and mentor data engineers, fostering a culture of curiosity, autonomy, and impact.Define and execute the company’s data strategy, aligning it with business objectives and growth targets.Serve as the data champion across the organization, advocating for data-driven decision-making and best practices.Data Insights & Business Impact:Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, supply, and finance) to identify business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.Develop and deliver dashboards, KPIs, and advanced analytics to support strategic decision-making.Analyze customer behavior and operational data to uncover actionable insights that enhance the customer experience and franchise performance.Operational Excellence:Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure robust and reliable data availability.Establish and enforce best practices in data governance, quality, and security.Drive the adoption of self-service BI tools across teams, enabling stakeholders to explore and utilize data independently.Innovation & Growth:Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, introducing innovative data solutions to enhance Taster’s competitive edge and to tackle key business challenges such as customer segmentation, demand forecasting, and fraud detection.What are we looking for?Experience: 5-10 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related roles, with a proven track record of management.Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau). Familiarity with Google Cloud stack greatly valued.
