Job description
Mission:Combine technical knowledge and business acumen to transform complex data structures into actionable insights that drive Schneider Electric’s strategy and support decision-making processes.Key responsibilities:
- Manage ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes using Alteryx and other tools, understanding the fundamentals of data architecture, and being able to maintain and monitor data workflows
- Works with the Business Engagement team to help the business to understand and solve their challenge, supporting their strategy with data related initiatives.
- Understands and contributes to the data strategy, supports the transition to new data sets and contributes to the implementation of new data architecture, including documentation, data validation, and readiness assessments
- Collaborates with IT and data security teams to ensure adherence to data governance and security policies
- Conducts UAT testing on datasets and during the implementation of software updates.
Skills and attributes:
- Experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as Alteryx and Tableau
- Understanding of ETL processes and data architecture
- Problem-solving mindset and autonomous learning capabilities, able to research solutions to problems encountered in the workflows
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Education
- A University Degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science
- Experience with SQL and visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- (Desirable) Experience with Python and ETL tools, such as Alteryx or Informatica
