Join our Bureau of Technology as an intern and become a part of the Governance, Risks & Compliance (GRC) squad within the Cybersecurity tribe which is  responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with laws and standards (specifically ISO 27001 & GDPR) that guide Back Market’s operations and decision-making processes. Dive into a thrilling project where you’ll discover, benchmark, and deploy a cutting-edge security governance tool. YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT):

• GRC Activities Exploration: Learn about GRC activities in a complex and rapidly-evolving environment.
• ISO 27001 Compliance: Gain hands-on experience linking ISO 27001 compliance to a scale-up context.
• Security Governance Tool Implementation: Discover, benchmark, and implement a security governance tool to monitor compliance with the ISO 27001 standard and build a security dashboard.
• Independent Project Management: Take charge of a cybersecurity project independently, transforming identified needs into practical solutions.
• Practical Problem Solving: Tackle actual problems using well-known and cloud-based tooling suites such as Confluence, Google Suite, GCP, Github, and more.
• Professional Development: Be part of a collaborative team of cybersecurity experts dedicated to guiding your professional development.

YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE IF: ⭐

• Currently enrolled in your last year of an Engineering School/University with a Cybersecurity or Computer science specialization, already based in Spain (priority to Barcelona-based students)
• You have knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard
• Ability to learn quickly, being curious about the context
• Ability to work in an international environment
• You are fluent in English – French and/or Spanish is a plus.
• You are looking for a 6 month, full-time role (35h/week), internship (March 2025 – September 2025) based in Barcelona, Spain
• Your school can provide an internship agreement & you are authorized to work in Spain (EU Nationality or in possession of valid student visa/work permit).
