Job Description:FLINT is hiring an experienced CWB Structural Welder to join our dynamic team in Clairmont, AB.As a pivotal member of our welding crew, you will perform welding tasks according to industry standards and regulations. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our projects.What would you be doing?

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Recognize defective welds and know the defective area’s cause and repair procedure.
• Fuse metals safely and effectively using prescribed welding applications.
• Perform tasks according to industry quality and production standards.
• Other tasks as required.

• Journeyperson Welder ticket.
• Know and understand metals, arc electrodes, welding gases and gas welding filler roads.
• Have expertise and comprehension of the welding equipment involved in various procedures.
• Are adaptable and able to work in a team environment.
• Have safety as a top priority.
• Able to read and understand complex instructions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
